PRE-LENTEN WEDDING ON MONDAY
MISS VIOLA KONZ AND JOSEPH TASTOVE MARRIED AT ST MARY’S CHURCH ALTON

A pretty wedding occurred Monday Feb. 16th at St. Mary’s church when Miss
Viola Konz, daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Konz, became the bride of Joseph
Tastove of Granville. The ceremony was performed by Very Rev. F. J. Brune.
The bride was lovely in her gown of white canton crepe and veil caught with
pearls. She carried a shower bouquet of butterfly roses, freesias and
asparagus ferns, tied with georgette ribbons. The bridesmaid was Miss
Margie Konz, the bride’s youngest sister. She wore coral canton crepe with
hat to match and carried Aaron Ward roses. The bridegroom was attended by
Henry Moes of Granville.

Following the ceremony, the wedding breakfast was served at the home of the
bride and the couple left the same day for St. Paul. On their return they
will be at home to friends south of Alton, where they will keep house for
the bride’s brother, Math. Konz.
