BENNIER-HOLLES
A beautiful wedding took place at 8 o’clock Tuesday morning in St. Joseph’s
Catholic Church, when Miss Dorothy Bennier, daughter of H. C. Bennier,
became the bride of Matthew Holles, son of Frank Holles. The Rev. J. A.
Gerleman officiated at the nuptial mass. The charming bride was gowned in a
floor length dress of copen blue lace, a rust lace picture hat and white
slippers. Her bouquet consisted of red roses and bridal wreath. The bride
was attended by Rita Forkenbrock, who wore a pink lace dress trimmed in blue
and a blue net hat. Waldemar Bennier, a brother of the bride, attended the
groom.

After the wedding a three course wedding breakfast was served at the H. C.
Bennier home. A wedding dinner was also served to the following: Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Holles and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Klein and family, of
Hospers; Art and Urban Holles, Billy Hiuts, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Scheitler and
Mrs. Masuer, of LeMars; Mr. and Mrs. Alphonse Bennier and family and Joe
Bennier, of Sioux City.

Mrs. George Borman and Miss Marcella Neuroth had charge of the dinner
preparation and were assisted with the serving by Agatha Grady, Helen Kreber
and Mary Lammers.

The bride and groom left by motor at 3 o’clock for LeMars, Sioux City and
points elsewhere.

They expect to return by the end of the week and will immediately set up
housekeeping on the Holles farm on the northeast edge of Granville.
