SCHULZ-WINTERFIELD (Winterfeld) WEDDING;
Tuesday, March 7, 1905, at four o'clock p. m. at the beautiful home of Mr, and Mrs. Henry Baack, residing 3 ½ miles northwest of Struble.
Promptly at the hour appointed the sweet strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march, played by Miss Lillian Hanke, resounded through the rooms heralding the approach of the bridal party. The bridesmaids, Miss Edythe Hanke and Miss Emelia Winterfield, preceded the bride and groom and waited at the entrance of the parlor until the bride and groom had taken their places in a prettily decorated corner. The best men, Messrs. Will Schulz and Henry Vranhorst, followed and attended the bridesmaids to the appointed corner. Rev. C. D. Nuoffer performed the short but impressive ceremony which made them man and wife. The next half hour was spent in congratulations in which the future happiness of the bride and groom were extended.
The bride was beautifully gowned in blue Lansdowne almost covered by a filmy veil and carried a beautiful bouquet of bridal roses. The bridesmaids were daintily attired in white. At six o'clock a sumptious feast was partaken of after which a social evening was greatly enjoyed. At a late hour all departed for their respective homes.
Mr. and Mrs. Winterfield were the recipients of many beautiful and useful presents which will adorn their new home. They will go to housekeeping in a beautiful farm house six miles west of Struble.

March 11, 1905SCHULTZ—WINTERFELD WEDDING.
The Henry F. Baack home in Grant township was the scene of a brilliant farm wedding on Wednesday when about forty families gathered there to witness the marriage of Miss Meta Schultz and Mr. Albert Winterfeld, both of Grant township. After the ceremony had been performed and congratulations and best wishes extended by the hosts of friends who had gathered to assist in celebrating the ceremony an elaborate wedding feast was served. The afternoon and evening were devoted to fittingly celebrate the happy event and not a single detail was omitted.
The bride is an orphan whose parents died several years ago. She has resided in the county practically all of her life. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Winterfeld of LeMars, who formerly resided in Grant township. He owns half a section of land and by his energy has nicely equipped himself with this world’s goods. They will go to housekeeping at once on the groom’s farm. They were the recipients of a large list of presents.
