ALINE SAUNDERS AND JOE TRITZ MARRIED

Miss Aline Saunders, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Saunders of Alton, and
Joe Tritz of Remsen were quietly married Friday, Sept. 14. Very Rev. M. A.
Schemel officiating at the nuptial ceremony, which took place at 2 o’clock
and was witnessed by the bride’s sister, Miss Helen Saunders, and the
bridegroom’s brother, Francis Tritz. The bride is a graduate of Alton high
school and for the past year has been employed at Marcus. News of the
wedding came as a surprise to the bride’s many Alton friends, who extend
best wishes.
