Hobbies/Interests: Was passionate about horses and racing horses, owning and training horses for many years. When his sons were young, they would go with him to the races. He frequently watched sports or horse races on television. Mike also loved to travel, including having made a trip to Thailand. Mostly, Mike loved spending time with his family. When the Schleis-side gathered, they would spend a lot of the time playing cards and sharing laughs. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow up and attending their sporting events and dance recitals.
