Died, in Harlan, Saturday, January 31st, 1880, W. H. H. Nutter, aged 66 years, 6 months and 26 days. The remains were followed from his late residence, on Sunday, to their last resting place in "Hillside" cemetery, by relatives and friends. By request of the deceased a few remarks and prayer by the Rev. Sabin were the only ceremonies attending his funeral. Father Nutter was born in Harrison county, West Virginia; emigrated to Marion county, Iowa in 1844; removing thence to Shelby county in 1875. His occupation was shoemaking which he followed
until about a year since, when health
failing he was compelled to stop. His
long sufferings are now at an end, the shattered body laid at rest, and the
spirit gone to God who gave.
