Once they started their family, they relocated once more, this time to Persia, IA, where they ran the Country Corner store and Greg also sold used tractor parts hauled scrap metal.

Hobbies/Interests: Loved having visitors to the house; time on the deck with the kids and grandkids; listening to classic country music; was a proud Republican; enjoyed going to the county fair to watch the grandkids show and to the Iowa State Fair annually to watch LeRoy VanDyke
