Employment: In California, where she married Harold, Pat worked at a car dealership for a short time before becoming a full-time mother and housewife. Ten years later, the family moved back to Iowa. Over time, Pat held numerous positions at Variety Distributors, CDS Global, LaQunita Inns, and Westridge Apartments in Harlan. When working for LaQuinta Inns, Harold and Pat started as relief managers and traveled all over the U.S.; Pat enjoyed the travel and seeing all the new places.

Hobbies/Interests: Harold and Pat enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapshooting and camping. Pat was one of the first women to compete in trapshooting and won several trophies for her abilities.
