Marriage: Allen Irlbeck; April 19, 1969; St. Cecilia Cathedral, Omaha, NE

Employment: After acquiring her LPN degree, Sue was employed by St. Anthony Hospital; later, after moving to Omaha, NE, she worked as a nurse at Clarkson and Bergan Hospitals. Her husband, Al, served in the U. S. Army from 1969 – 1974, after which the family moved to Shelby, IA. There Sue worked as a nurse at Myrtue Memorial Hospital, Harlan, IA. The family moved to Avoca, IA in 1977 where Al started Avoca Building Material Center. Sue worked full time at the hospital and part time at Avoca Building for 2 years. She then decided to leave the hospital and help Al full time at Avoca Building where she worked for the next 36 years. She retired in 2015.

Hobbies/Interests: Loved being outdoors; family was her priority
