Religious affiliation: Baptized and confirmed his faith in 1951 at Zion Lutheran Church, Denison, IA; was an active and life-long member of Zion Lutheran Church and served various terms on the church board

Military service: Enlisted in the U. S. Army on Dec. 8, 1954 and attended basic training at Fort Bliss, TX; was a vehicle mechanic at Fort Benning, GA for 2 years; honorably discharged on Dec. 7, 1956

Marriage: Beverly Saunders; July 15, 1955; Jackson, MN

Employment: Stan worked with his father for 15 years in the auto repair business, naming their shop Kracht Body Shop. He then opened his own auto repair shop, Stan's Body and Glass. Later, he entered the used car business and changed the name to Stan's Auto Sales. Stan continued to work part time until 2017.

Hobbies/Interests: Member, American Legion Post 8 in Denison, IA; enjoyed traveling, camping, hunting, golfing, and "puttering around the shop." Was an avid supporter of his grandchildren's activities.
