Employment: Was employed by Harlan (IA) National Bank from 1941 until 1951. She then worked at Farmer’s Saving Bank, Irwin, IA, for 35 years and retired in 1989, having become Vice President and a member of Board of Directors.

Hobbies/Interests: Life member of VFW Auxiliary #941, Harlan, IA; member, American Legion Auxiliary #614, Irwin, IA; served in offices for the National Bank Womens Association, the Myrtue Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Board, as City Clerk of Irwin, IA, and the Shelby County Board of Review. She received the Community Leadership Award of Shelby County Chamber of Commerce in 2002. She was active in the 1941 Class Reunions held over the years. Arline enjoyed time spent at Lake Okoboji, playing cards, doing puzzles, and computer games.
