Funeral Services of Edward Lahr

The funeral of Edward Lahr, Jr., was held from the Kubitschek and Kastler Funeral Home Saturday afternoon. Rev. Albert S. Kllbourn officiating. A quartet of young women from the Congregational Sunday School, of which Edward was a member, furnished three hymns, "I Think When I Read That Sweet Story of Old", "Now the Day is Over" (a hymn which Edward had sung in public), and "Jewels."" The quartet consisted of Misses Mary Barnes, Margaret Hall, Gladys Emerick and Margaret Christensen with Gail Hall as accompanist. Members of Edward's Sunday School class with Mrs. Charles Kastler and Mrs. William Wiggins, his former, teachers, were present.
