Death of James L. Linn
Died Dec. 27, 1893, James L Linn, aged 41 years, 4 months, and 21 days of Cerebral Apoplexy.

Mr. Linn was lifting a stove Wednesday morning and all at once fell over in a faint. A doctor was called who said that a blood vessel had been burst in the head. He rallied some in the evening, but he grew worse and died Wednesday evening about 10:30 o'clock. Mr. Linn was a quiet man and was liked and respected by his neighbors. He leaves a wife [Leah Catherine Byerley] and four small children [Alice, Arlo, George and Frederick] to mourn his loss. The funeral services were held this morning in the M.E. Church conducted by Rev. Stevenson and the Sons of Veterans of which he was a member, had charge of the body at the grave. The widow and orphan children have the sympathy of all.
