Employment: Began his career in corporate accounting at Fox & Co., Xerox, and FASB (Financial Accounting Standards Board) from 1973 until 1981. In 1982, he left the corporate world to share his passion of accounting on a college and post-graduate level to teach future accountants to perform at a level exceeding the current accounting standards. Over the next 34 years Alf taught at Doane College, Crete, NE; University of Maine, Orono, ME; South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, SC; Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, and American University in Bulgaria, Blagoevrad, Bulgaria, Europe and Claflin University, Orangeburg, SC.
