Hobbies/Interests: loved to fly; president of The National Council of Industrial Management Clubs affiliated with the Y.M.C.A., was a member of the Harlan (IA) City Council, former president of the 8-Ball Flying Club, and a member of the Florida Estates Corporate Board in Zepherhills, FL; after he could no longer pilot planes himself, he joined the Shelby County R/C Club and built and flew remote controlled planes; loved to play golf; travel
