Employment: While attending school, Lisa worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer and a Juvenile Intake Officer for the State of Nebraska and Douglas County. After earning her JD degree, Lisa became an Assistant Public Defender for the Public Defender’s office in Douglas County, Omaha, NE. In 2000, Lisa accepted a position at Preferred Professional Insurance Company in Omaha and worked as a Claims Attorney, handling medical malpractice claims throughout the country and rising to the level of Director of Claims.
