Employment: While in high school, she worked as a telephone operator; later, she worked at several jobs, including waitressing at Mickel’s Café and the Whitestar; she also worked at Jacobsen Travel while Lowell farmed.

Hobbies/Interests: was a member of the Lincoln Township Women’s Social Club and a member of the Hospital Auxiliary.
