Funeral services: Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Irwin, IA; Pastor Ron Rasmussen officiated. Burial was at Danway Cemetery in Polk Township, IA.

Survived by: Husband of 41 years, Henry, of Irwin, IA; sons, Henry Olson of San Francisco, CA and Paul Olson of Perry, IA; sister, Eva Chamberlain of Tucson, AZ; sister-in-law, Jolene Meyer; aunts, Lois Petska and Betty Crane; nieces and nephews, James Meyer, Larry Meyer, Suzanne Buntingh, Penny Hanson, Kenneth Hanson, and Jerry Chamberlain; great-nieces and great-nephews; other family members and friends

Predeceased by: Parents, Ira Chester and Martha Marie (nee Lane) Crane; sister, Amy Meyer; infant brother, James Ira Crane; brother-in-law, Don Meyer; parents-in-law, Clarence and Elise Olson.

Education: attended the local Milford Number Five Elementary School and graduated from Ar-We-Va High School in Westside, IA, Class of 1962. After graduating high school, she attended business school in Omaha, NE

Religious affiliation: baptized and confirmed at the Presbyterian Church in Vail, IA, and later joined St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Irwin, IA.

Marriage: Henry Olson; Sep. 14, 1968; at the Presbyterian Church in Vail, IA

Employment: After attending business school, Anna Marie began working at an area Omaha bank. After her marriage, she concentrated on raising her family. Once her sons had graduated, she began working at Hy-Vee in Harlan, IA, and later worked in the activity department at Salem Lutheran Homes in Elk Horn, IA.

Hobbies/Interests: She was actively involved with her church, teaching Sunday school, and holding several offices in Saint Paul’s Lutheran women’s organization. She was also active in the Farm Bureau and several neighborhood clubs.
