Survived by: Son, Douglas (spouse, Karen) Rickers of Omaha, NE; daughter, Linda (spouse, Mike) Pederson of Ankeny, IA; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Keith (spouse, Nadine) Campbell of Harlan, IA, Russell Campbell of Harlan, IA, and Victor (spouse, Marie) Campbell of Lady Lakes, FL; sister-in-law, Betty Campbell of Harlan, IA; other family members and friends

Religious affiliation: baptized and confirmed at the First United Methodist Church in Harlan, IA, where she remained a lifelong member. She was active in the women’s circle at church and always eager to volunteer at various functions.

Employment: Homemaker; after her children were older, Phyllis worked for the school system in the kitchen as a cook.

Hobbies/Interests: loved to cook and bake; she was a 52-year-member of the Lebanon Chapter No. 8 Order of the Eastern Star in Harlan and a member of the Daughters of the Nile, an organization that assists the Shriners.
