Survived by: Sons, John (spouse, Jodi) Edwards of Riverton, WY, and Robert Edwards of Belgrade, MT; daughter, Mary (spouse, Duane) Maher of Omaha, NE; brother, Terry Handy of Sandy, UT; grandchildren, Lisa (spouse, Lupe) Alvarez, Amy (spouse, K.W.) Frields, Adam (spouse, Jenny) Kite, Timothy Edwards, and Andrew (spouse, Amber) Edwards; 8 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends

Education: was a graduate of Harlan (IA) High School, Class of 1943

Marriage: Delbert Vinding Edwards; June 2, 1944; First United Methodist Church, Harlan, IA

Employment: While in high school, she worked in the school superintendent’s office. While Delbert served in WWII, Loa Dell lived with her parents. In 1951, the couple moved first to Riverton, WY, to homestead; they then relocated to Jackson Hole, WY. In 1965, Delbert and Loa Dell moved to a farm near Marne, IA, where they lived until their retirement. From 1995-2004, they resided in Harlan, IA, and then returned to Riverton, WY.

Hobbies/Interests: While living in Harlan, she was a member of the Sewing Club and the Pitch Club. She had served as a 4-H leader in Wyoming, and was active in her church. Loa Dell was a good cook and baker who made her own homemade bread and butter. She greatly enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and took interest in their activities.
