Employment: After his schooling, he worked on the family farm before moving to Handicap Village in Clear Lake, Iowa. When New Hope Village was built in Carroll, Iowa, Harry was one of the first residents. He lived there for 36 years. Harry worked at the workshop at New Hope Village, one of the restaurants in Carroll, and volunteered his time at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll.
Hobbies/Interests: enjoyed woodworking, putting puzzles together, and watching western shows; was a proud member of the Lions Club and belonged to the New Hope bowling team.
