Religious affiliation: Lenard and Annabel were members of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Kimballton, IA, where Lenard served on the board several years. They were presently members of the Wiota United Methodist Church.

Employment: Annabel worked in several local factories, as a cook at Salem Lutheran Home, Elk Horn, IA, and at the Viking Restaurant.

Hobbies/Interests: She loved to cook and took great pride in her cooking skills. She also enjoyed searching for treasures at garage sales, shopping, and she loved to read and listen to audio books. Lenard and Annabel were very independent, but were inseparable for the past 63 years.
