After her children were grown, Frances worked as a waitress in Avoca and ran the Avoca Sale Barn Café for many years.
Hobbies/Interests: Frances always raised a garden and loved her cats. She was a 4-H leader; active in WSCS in Harlan, IA; she and her husband belonged to the Corley Social Club, Harlan Saddle Club, and Shelby County Farm Bureau.
