Hobbies/Interests: Martha loved living on the farm and she loved Iowa. She didn’t care to travel and couldn’t understand why anyone would want to go anywhere else. She’d had a passion for painting since her youth, starting with watercolors and then moving on to oils. Many family members have her paintings in their homes. Martha loved animals, watching birds and having chickens around. She enjoyed growing flowers, going dancing, and cooking great meals, but most of all, she loved her family.
