Employment: Anna’s mother died in Anna’s teen years, and Anna was needed to run the home for her father and brothers. After she was married and when her children were younger, she moved with them from Elk Horn to Audubon, IA. She was employed at various restaurants and cleaned homes. After receiving her GED, Anna was employed as a Certified Nurse’s Aide for the Friendship Home in Audubon for 12 years. She retired in 1992 because of health reasons, but enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren.

Hobbies/Interests: Member, Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Audubon, IA. She enjoyed embroidering, cross stitch and baking, and always had a vegetable garden to tend to. She mostly enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren.
