Omaha. She was born in Honey Creek, IA to Elsie and Henry Peterson. She attended schools in Beebeetown and graduated high school from Shelby in 1946. In 1949, she was married to Donald F. Peters, who preceded her in death in 2002. In 1994 she married Roger L. Madsen and they shared a wonderful life together between their homes in Omaha and the Rio Grand Valley, TX. She was passionate about playing bridge, achieving Life Master status in 1993. She also loved her kids, being a wife to Roger, and being a grandmother and great-grandmother. The most important thing in her life, however, was her dedication to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Chester, Wayne and Merlin. She is survived by her husband, Roger; son, Mark, Edmond, OK; daughter, Kay, Omaha, NE and Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Rachael, Plattsmouth, NE; Zachary (Wendy), Bozeman, MT, Spencer, Oklahoma City, OK; great grandchildren, Jacinda and Caleb, Plattsmouth, NE.

VISITATION Monday 6-8pm at Braman Mortuary Southwest Chapel. Celebration of Life, Tuesday, 1:30pm at Lutheran Church of the Master, 2617 S. 114th St. Interment, Shelby Township Cemetery, Shelby, IA.
