Patrick J. McColloch, age 67, of Harlan, Iowa, passed away January 29, 2013.

He was born February 1, 1945, in Belmond, Iowa, to Chester and Lois (Murtaugh) McColloch. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and then retired from the Union Pacific Rail Road.

Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Chester; and son, Michael Gardner.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Sunny; son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Sara McColloch; daughter, Cheryl Letcher; mother, Lois McColloch; sister, Geraldine Helfter (Bill); brothers, Dan McColloch, Scott McColloch (Sue); grandchildren, Ryan, Makayla, Kasi, Gracie, Sami and Jessi; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is Saturday, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., with a service to begin at 1 p.m., at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. The family will direct memorials to a cause important to Patrick.
