Patricia Marie Johnson
Born: December 27, 1952 in Yuma, CO
Died: July 12, 2012 in Farmington, NM

Patricia was a natural born teacher, whether it was Emergency Medical students throughout San Juan county, early childhood and English as a second language students at San Juan Community college, or her first graders at Esperanza, Farmington municipal schools. She inspired and challenged all of her students. Patricia... received many awards for her skills, but her greatest award was for her students to succeed. Patricia's love of life enabled her to be an author, photographer, culinary artist, and organic gardener. She will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Grandmother, mother, wife, and friend, those who knew her understood she would do anything for folks if asked.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father, John William Kenney on December 31, 1970, and her younger sister, Theresa Jean Kittleson on March 9, 2009.

She is survived by her mother, Pearl June (Kohl) Kenney of Overland Park, Kansas, her 3 brothers Edward (Carol) Kenney of Abilene, KS, Calvin (Mary) Kenney of Irvine, CA and William (Christie) Kenney of Wallingford, PA, and her 5 sisters Carolyn (Dan) Winkel of Omaha, NE, Sharon (Sam) Huston of St. Louis, MO, Linda Kenney of Portland, Oregon, Joan (Dennis) Wells of Springfield, MO and Mary (Dan) Brown of Overland Park, KS. She is also survived by the light of her eyes, her grandchildren Kelsi, Ashlyn, and Kamry Johnson. Her loving sons, Leroy Louis and Bryan Albert, and her adoring husband, Floyd Paul Johnson, of Bloomfield, New Mexico, will miss her from now on.

A memorial gathering will be held at Sycamore Park Community Center, 1051 Sycamore, Farmington, New Mexico, at Seven PM, Monday, July 23, 2012.
