KAREN JEAN ERWIN ROBERTS, 54, of Council Bluffs died Friday, July 6th at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs. Funeral Services for KAREN ROBERTS will be held Monday, July 9th at 11:00am at the Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 8th from 4:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home. Family will greet friends from 4:00-6:00pm.

Burial will be in the Minden Cemetery.

KAREN ROBERTS is survived by:
Daughters: Monica Rice of Council Bluffs. Heather (Herman) Lewis of Morse Bluff, NE. Crystal Roberts of Council Bluffs;
Sisters: Cathy (Ron) Lau of Ida Grove, IA. Debbie (Butch) Hastie of Avoca. Susan (Leonard) Tiffey of Council Bluffs;
Brothers: Terry Erwin, Sr. of Honey Creek, IA. Chad (Angel) Erwin of Glenwood, IA.;

Funeral Services for 54 year old Karen Jean Erwin Roberts of Council Bluffs will be held at 11am on Monday, July 9 in the Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca. Burial will be in the Minden Cemetery in Minden. Karen passed away on Friday, July 6 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital. Survivors include her special friend: Larry Rasmussen of Council Bluffs; 3 daughters: Monica Rice (Joel Pogge); and Crystal Roberts (James May) all of Council Bluffs; Heather (Herman) Lewis of Morse Bluff, NE; 3 sisters: Cathy (Ron) Lau of Ida Grove; Debbie (Butch) Hastie of Avoca; Susan (Leonard) Tiffey of Council Bluffs; and 2 brothers: Terry Erwin, Sr. (Deb Cain) of Honey Creek; and Chad (Angel) Erwin of Glenwood. The Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca is in charge of arrangements.

Karen was born June 14, 1958, to Lloyd Edwin and Lois Irene (Mudra) Nelson, in Council Bluffs.

She is survived by her special friend, Larry Rasmussen, of Council Bluffs; daughters, Monica Rice (Joel Pogge), of Council Bluffs, Heather (Herman) Lewis, of Morse Bluff, Neb., and Crystal Roberts (James May), of Council Bluffs; sisters, Cathy (Ron) Lau, of Ida Grove, Iowa, Debbie (Butch) Hastie, of Avoca, Iowa, and Susan (Leonard) Tiffey, of Council Bluffs; brothers, Terry Erwin, Sr. (Deb Cain), of Honey Creek, Iowa, and Chad (Angel) Erwin, of Glenwood, Iowa; and 6 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 8, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Pauley Jones Funeral Home, of Avoca, Iowa, with family greeting friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday, July 9, at 11 a.m., also at the funeral home.
