LaRae Jolene Kuster, 60, Logan, passed away June 12, 2012 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., June 18, at the Logan Memorial Chapel with Pastor Oris Drake officiating. Taped musical selections were, "In the Garden," "How Great Thou Art," and "The Old Rugged Cross." Casket bearers were, Kirk Ryan, Joshua Christie, Jeff Parks, Galen Olsberg, Dennis South and Michelle Godden. Final resting place was Valley View Cemetery, Persia.

LaRae was born July 27, 1951, in Council Bluffs, to Edwin Kenneth and Vera May (Chambers) Kuster. She spent most of her life in her hometown of Persia, but spent the last five years of her life with friends and her extended family at Mosaic in Logan. She enjoyed fun and fellowship at Mosaic and learned many life skills while a resident at Mosaic. She had great respect and affection for the people she worked, played and lived with while at Mosaic.

LaRae was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, parents, Edwin and Vera and brother, Garyld.

Survivors include her sister, Cheryl (Kuster) Olsberg, Omaha, Neb.; nieces, Kerri Christie and Ryndee Ryan of Omaha, Neb.; great nephews, Daniel and Joshua Christie, Dalton and Wyatt Ryan, all of Omaha, Neb.

Her sweet smile and her generous spirit will be greatly missed.
