Patricia Lorraine "Payne" (Sullivan) Weber, 75 of Dunlap, died at her home on Thursday, March 22.

Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 26, at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dunlap. Burial was at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Dunlap.

The Fouts Funeral Home in Dunlap was in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Weber, of Dunlap; seven children, Diane Asmussen, of Dubuque, Colleen Cornelius, of Vail, Sue Nemitz, of Dunlap, Don Weber, of Le Mars, Tim Weber, of Denison, and Mark Weber and Julie Stavneak, both of Omaha, Nebraska; 18 grandchildren; one great grandchild on the way; and two sisters, Mary Baldwin, of Dunlap, and Kathleen "Mike" Roane, of Neola.

Patricia Lorraine (Sullivan) Weber was born March 14, 1937, to Maurice and Alice (Finnegan) Sullivan in Dunlap, Iowa. She was raised south of Dunlap and attended Mill Creek Country School. She graduated in 1955 from St. Joseph's Catholic School in Dunlap. Lorraine was a waitress at the café in Dunlap and took care of her mother for a few years. Lorraine then married Robert Weber on December 28, 1956, at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dunlap. The couple moved to the Weber family farm just east of Dunlap. The couple then purchased a farm one mile east in 1970.

Lorraine was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, playing cards, and going to her kids and grandkids activities. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her family and playing games with her grandchildren. Lorraine also enjoyed a trip to Ireland in the fall of 1979.

Lorraine died on Thursday, March 22, 2012, at her home near Dunlap, Iowa at the age of 75 years and eight days.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Pat and Tom Sullivan and two sisters, Rita Heffernan and Joann Dresen.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Weber of Dunlap, Iowa; seven children, Diane (Stoy) Asmussen of Dubuque, Iowa, Colleen (Jeff) Cornelius of Vail, Iowa, Sue (Mark) Nemitz of Dunlap, Iowa, Don (Myra) Weber of Le Mars, Iowa, Tim (Lisa) Weber of Denison, Iowa, Mark (Trish) Weber of Omaha, Nebraska, Julie (Don) Stavneak of Omaha, Nebraska; 18 grandchildren; one great grandchild on the way; two sisters, Mary (Fritz) Baldwin of Dunlap, Iowa, Kathleen "Mike" (Jack) Roane of Neola, Iowa; sister-in-law, Sally Sullivan of Carroll, Iowa; brother-in-law, Ed Heffernan of Dunlap, Iowa and many other relatives and friends.
