Mass of Christian Burial for 61 year old Vern Stessman of Omaha will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, February 16th at the Mary Our Queen Catholic Church at 3405 South 118th Street. Burial will be at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery. Survivors include wife Coni Stessman of Omaha; daughters Jennifer Owens of Bellevue, NE; Felicia Egan; Shannon Fitzgerald both of California; two grandsons; brothers Gerald Stessman of Des Moines; Marcus (Peg) Stessman of Earling; Jack (Kathryn) Stessman of Dunlap; Don (Joanne) Stessman of Dunlap; Leo (Mary) Stessman of Omaha; Gail (Maureen) Stessman of Dunlap; Ron Stessman of Omaha; sisters Rita (Don) all of Omaha; Delores (Marvin) Klein of Dunlap; Helen Reisz of Dunlap; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be on Tuesday February 15th from 5-8 pm and a Vigil Service at 6:30 pm both at the Mary Our Queen Catholic Church.

Age 61. Omaha. Retired Omaha Firefighter of 28 years. Born in Dunlap, IA to Leonard and Isabel (Assman) Stessman. Preceded in death by parents and a brother, Ray Stessman.

Survived by wife, Coni; three daughters, Jennifer Owens, Bellevue, NE, Felicia Egan and Shannon Fitzgerald, both of California, two grandsons; brother, Msgr. Gerald Stessman, Des Moines, IA, Marcus (Peg) Stessman, Earling, IA, Jack (Kathryn) Stessman, Dunlap, IA, son (Joanne) Stessman, Dunlap, IA, Leo (Mary) Stessman, Omaha, Gail (Maureen) Stessman, Dunlap, IA, Ron Stessman, Omaha; sisters, Rita (Don) Wall, Omaha, Delores (Marvin) Klein, Dunlap, IA, Helen Reisz, Dunlap, IA and many relatives and friends.

VISITATION Tuesday from 2-8pm, Vigil Service at 6:30pm, both at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church, 3405 S. 118th St. MASS of Christian burial Wednesday 10:30am at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church. Interment at Fort Calhoun Cemetery.
