JEFFERSON -- Janet K. Hillstrand-Gose, 69, died January 29 at her home in Jefferson.

Services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. at the Christ Lutheran Church in Jefferson with burial in the Harlan Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1 at the Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson, with family to greet friends from 6:30-8 p.m., and a prayer service to follow at 8 p.m.

Hillstrand-Gose was originally from Harlan.

She is survived by her husband, Edmund Gose, of Jefferson; daughters Elizabeth (James H. Wick III) Wick of Cedar Rapids, Angela (Michael) Ask of Underwood and Rebecca (Jacob) Clark of Boone; stepchildren Cynthia (Mark) Richards of Bettendorf, Laura (Ross) Krieger of Boone and Philip (Kristin) Gose of Urbandale; brothers Robert (Sharon) Burmeister of Tonto Junction, Az., Richard (Sharon) Burmeister of Harlan, Jerome (Rose) Burmeister of Fort Dodge, Jon (Beverly) Burmeister of Harlan, James (Sally) Burmeister of Harlan and Phillip (Marie) Burmeister of Mt. Ayr; sisters-in-law Holly (Larry) Lukens of Vincennes, In., Linda (Denny) Doyle of Omaha, Patricia Perrin of Raleigh, N.C. and Margaret (Karl) Schilling of Des Moines; and 12 grandchildren.
