Laycock, Granville -
Granville, son of Enoch and Mary Laycock was born, May 27, 1874 in Shelby County Ia. He passed away at his home in Conway Dec. 30, 1952 at the age of 78 years, 7 months and three days. He moved to Conway with his parents at the age of 8 years and resided there the remainder of his life. He was preceded in death by his father and mother and a brother, Homer, and a sister Goldie.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Palmer and her husband W. W. Palmer of Conway, three nephews, Dwight Coburn of El Reno, Okla., Darrell Palmer of Des Moines, Wendell Palmer of Council Bluffs, two nieces, Mrs. Hilda Clark of El Reno, Okla, and Mrs. Mary Forcade of Graham, Mo. He will be greatly missed also by five great nieces, two great nephews and one great great nephew. Kute was a familiar figure around town and will be missed
