Trudy Margaret Kirchner, age 82, of Omaha, Neb., passed away November 25, 2009 at her residence.
Trudy was born August 1, 1927 in Defiance, Iowa to Harry and Jean (Warrell) Johnson. Trudy received her Masters Degree and taught school throughout southwest Iowa and Springfield, Neb. For many years she taught at Gunn School and later retiring from the Iowa School for the Deaf.
Trudy is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Jean Johnson; brothers, Robert, Walt, Leo, Jerry and Lawrence Johnson.
Survivors include daughter, Linda Erlanger, of Sterling, Va.; grandson, Seth Erlanger, of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother, Leonard Johnson and wife, Martina, of Lakewood, Colo.; sisters-in-law, Mary Etta, Anita and Bertha Johnson; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; many other loved family and friends.
Visitation Monday 6:00 p.m. followed by a Christian Wake Service at 7:00 p.m. at Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10:30 a.m., at St. Pius the Tenth Church, Omaha. Father John Pietramale, Celebrant. Luncheon will follow services in church hall. Cremation will follow.
