I'm doing research on the history of Sacred Heart Church in Chariton and have been researching Fr. Maniett. He donated a church window in honor of his parents just a few months after his mother died. I've tracked him from Stuart on Sept. 15, 1902, to Chariton to visit his sister on Sept. 16, 1902. The following month his name appears in the Baltimore Sun stating that he had a letter to claim at the post office. Any additional information you could share would be appreciated.
