uncle's adoption

ADOPTIVE SURNAME WAS CHRISTIANSON

Since I posted here last, I have learned that my uncle's mother was born in 1904 (he was born in 1922), she worked in a doctor's office, had a sister that worked in an office and a brother that was "well up in the radio field." My uncle's father was widowed. Both maternal and paternal grandparents were of Norwegian stock. I can't remember how to get to a census from that time. I don't have a surname, but this is more info than I had before.
