HANSEN AND NIELSENNELSEN

My great grandmother, Anna (Margaret) Margaretha Nelsen, married Marcus Hansen in Davenport Iowa in 1872. After the birth of their second daughter in 1875, in Davenport, Anna was hospitalized in Mercy Hospital in Davenport for phsychiatric problems. Marcus moved to Nebraska in 1886 and I am assuming Anna died that year or late 1885 but I can find no record of her death or where she is buried. Can anyone out there help please? Marcus and Anna had two daughters who were "adopted" out but can find no record of this nor can I find a record of either of the girls' birth. Katie Hansen b 8-51-1873 in Davenport and Anna b 2-7-1875 in Davenport. There should be a record of their births somewhere but I cannot find it.
