Information on Willey Family

I'm trying to find out more on my 4th great grandfather Nicholas Willey. He was born in 1830, either in Germany or Switzerland, and died October 6, 1882 in Davenport, Scott, Iowa. He married Elizabeth Ruhl, daughter of Henry and Maria(Theis) Ruhl, on Jan 2 1854 at St.Anthony's Catholic Church in Davenport. They had 11 children(Naomi, Alfred, Henry, Gottlib, Theodore, Mary, Frederick, Froma, Henrietta, Marie, and Antonettia). Frederick is my 3rd great grandfather. If anyone is related, or knows about Nicholas, and where he immigrated from exactly, it would be greatly appreciated.
