Edward Whalen

I am looking for a great uncle named Edward Whalen. He was born about 1900 in Missouri. He's the son of Edward Price Whalen and Florence Lee Ingrum. He and his family moved to Davenport, Iowa sometime between 1920-1928. His father passed away in 1941 and his mother returned to Missouri. I believe Edward stayed in Iowa working as an armorer and eventually married Irene Hogan. I haven't been able to locate when and where Edward died or if he had any children. Any information someone might have on him would be greatly appreciated.
