In Response To: Hannah Kerr Condron (Donald Kerr)

Good morning Donald, We're all looking for information on our ancestors and their descendents. And we all have to do it the same way. Usually one sometimes painstaking record at a time. The only thing you should ever assume in genealogy is that you are the only one working on your Kerr/Condron lines. You are assuming that that all of these descendents are into genealogy and monitoring this list. Ain't gonna' happen bro. Find your people on all available census records first. It gives you more data to work with. You can't look for death records until you can determine where the individuals were living when the event occurred. Griffith & Hannah are not in Le Claire township in 1880. The 1880 census indexes & transcripts are free on-line at www.familysearch.org.You also indicate they were married in 1854 Pa. Why then are there 4 offspring on the 1860 census born prior to 1854? When you post Donald, it's best to request one specific record/document. By the nature & content of your request, if anyone else is researching these lines, they will find you. And that's "gravy on the 'taters". Wishing you success in all your genealogical pursuits. Dick
