Hi John, The 1910 for Jessie Norton indicates her & parental nativities are all Iowa. The sr. Averills nativities on the 1860 are NY & Ohio and they would have been circa 63 & 55 when Jessie was born around 1888. They appear to be Jessie's grandparents. The Hawkeye born 1857 Fredrick on that census is probably her father. The 1900 census for LeClaire twp, Scott co has h/h of Fred, 43, Ia, NY, OH. and Abbie 35, Ia, Can, Can. AVRIL. Children are 12 y/o Jessie & 7 y/o Hazel AVRIL. Dick
