Betty J. Tague, 84, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on August 11, 2022. A visitation will be held Monday, August 15, 2022 at the Runge Mortuary between 4-7 P.M.. Funeral services will be held at 10am Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Davenport. Betty will be laid to rest at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Betty’s name to St. Mark Lutheran Church where she was a lifelong member. Online condolences may be made at www.rungemortuary.com.

Betty was born on October 11, 1937 in Davenport Iowa to Raymond and Johanna Thompson. She was united in marriage to Fred Tague on March 10, 1957. They enjoyed 53 years of marriage until his passing in 2010. Betty worked for the Davenport School System as a secretary for 24 years until she retired in 2001. She enjoyed cooking, baking, genealogy, crafts and too many hobbies to mention. Betty was a very happy and proud homemaker that loved caring for her family. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Steve (Denise) Tague, Rick (Angie) Tague and Jackie (Jim) Wright; grandchildren, Lindsey, Jason, Justin, Jennifer, Nathan, Christopher, Ryan, John, Krysten, Darian, Chris; great grandchildren, Jason, Ryker, Amelie, Kyler, Jordym, Ashlyn, Faolan, Jozlynn, Bently, Raelynn, Joshua, Mayson, Vada, Torvi and Alexander.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
