BETTENDORF-Donna M. Cozad, 74 of Bettendorf, IA passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Iowa Masonic Health Care Bettendorf, IA.

Cremation will be done with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Scott County Humane Society and condolences can be shared at www.rungemortuary.com.

Donna was born February 5, 1948 in Muscatine, IA to Donald & Irene (Marzec) Drahaus. She was united in marriage to Ron Cozad on May 29, 1965; they later divorced. Donna had been employed as a cashier at Wal-Mart for more than 20 years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed trying new restaurants with her co-workers, going to the farmer's market (early) with her friends, and growing a wide variety of plants. She loved reading – whether it was the latest Stephen King novel, The Reader's Digest, or the daily local paper. She was a loyal viewer of The Young & the Restless, having watched it from the very first episode in 1973. Most of all, she lived to spoil her two dogs, first Autumn and later Lacy.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Kim (Tom) Whitehair, Hillsdale, IL and a brother Steve (Margaret) Drahaus, Ankeny, IA.
