Karole Edna (Koberg) Snyder, 75, of Davenport, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Genesis East.

Karole was born in Davenport, on November 28, 1942, the daughter of Ralph D. and Edna E. (Johannsen) Koberg.

She graduated from Durant High School in 1961.

Karole was married to LeRoy Haessler and later to Royce Snyder.

She began her working career at KSTT Radio, then worked 36 years as an Office Manager at AAA Motor Club. She was also tour guide leading tours across the US, Canada and Europe, as well as Plus 60 tours. She was currently employed at Ridgecrest Village and Heartland Estates. She was a longtime Mary Kay Consultant and enjoyed visiting with her many customers and taking care of them.

She was active and supportive of University of Iowa athletics, she held all offices in the North Scott I-Club and was secretary for many years of the Greater Quad City I-Club. She was voted "Volunteer of the Year" by University of Iowa athletics, an award she was most proud of. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed the many friendships gained through her membership. She attended numerous Iowa football and basketball games, enjoying traveling to bowl games and basketball tournaments.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 5 - 8 PM at the Koning Chapel at Ridgecrest Village, 4130 Northwest Blvd. Davenport. Karole would have loved it if you show up wearing your favorite Iowa Hawkeye clothing. An additional visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Koning Chapel at Ridgecrest Village.

Interment will take place at the Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery in Davenport.

Karole is survived and lovingly remembered by her brothers: Larry (Nancy) Koberg of Walcott and Ron Koberg of Lake Havasu, AZ, her sister-in-law Bernice Koberg of Plainview, her nieces and nephews: Lori (Mark) Ehlers, Lisa (Rob) Ankney, Kerry (Debbie) Koberg, Cassandra (Tom) Hayden, Curtis Kerr, Kelley Woolley, Kirk (Stacey) Koberg, Kevin (Marjie) Koberg, Kristal Schaefer, Korey (Jennifer) Koberg and Kim Murphy (Scott Calvert), as well as her many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Kenneth Koberg, her sister-in-law Sue Koberg, her nephew Keith Kerr, her niece Camie Matthews and her great nephew Kyle Koberg.

A memorial has been established in her memory.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Chitneni and Dr. Appel and the staff at Genesis East for their compassionate care.
