Obituary
Barbara “Barb” L Crockett, 78, of Silvis, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10am Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd, 6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265. Visitation will be from 5pm to 7pm on Monday, July 25, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Moline. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17 Chicago, IL 60601.

Barb was born on May 18, 1944, in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of Edward K and Louella M (Hahn) Purcell. She graduated from Detroit Business Institute and attended Black Hawk College for 2 years. Barb married Franklin Crockett on September 5, 1970, in Kansas. She worked for 1st National Bank of the Quad Cities for 20 years. Barb then worked at the Family Christian Book Store as a manger for 8 years, retiring in 2006. She was a member of Heritage Wesleyan Church in Rock Island. She was currently attending The Gathering Church in Moline. Barb loved camping, cooking, and reading.

Survivors include her husband; sons, Kenneth Crockett, Silvis, Brian (Melissa) Crockett, Jacksonville, FL; stepdaughter, Vonda (Henry) Rangel, Moline; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Rev Ed (Doris) Purcell, Olathe, KS, and Rev Tim (Dawn) Purcell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Minnie Martin.
