Charlotte Louise Mitchell, 63, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospitals. A celebration of her life will be Monday, July 25, 2022 at 10 am at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, at the mortuary. Her final resting place will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Iowa Donor Network. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.

Charlotte was born in Pensacola, FL on July 7, 1959. She was the daughter of Charles and Violet (Berger) Olds. She married Harold “Mitch” Mitchell, Jr. on December 20, 1987 in Davenport. She graduated from Scott Community College, receiving her LPN Degree. She worked as a nurse for various home health care agencies and most recently had worked at Good Samaritan Home. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and was a member of the Quad City Antique Ford Club.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Mitch, son, Ken (Nicole) Mitchell, Tulsa, OK, granddaughter, Anna Mitchell, Tulsa, OK, mother, Violet Olds, Davenport, stepsons: Todd (Ronnie) Brooks, Rock Island and Christopher (Teresa) Brooks, Davenport, siblings: Karen Olds, Bettendorf and Kat Smith, niece, Terrah Smith and nephew Brandon Smith, all of Davenport. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Springsteen Hernandez and grandson, David Charles Hernandez.
