Virgia Sharon Davis, 79, of Davenport, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Genesis East Medical Center. Per her request, cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.

Sharon was born January 13, 1943 in Rocky Mount, NC. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Grace (Clopton) Countryman. She married Ernest “Ernie” D. Davis on September 6, 1960 in Clio, MI.

Sharon worked as a secretary for John Deere Health Care for many years. She was an avid volunteer who loved feeding the homeless, donating and participating in various charities. She served with the Patriot Guard. Sharon also enjoyed motorcycle rides and going on trips with her husband and friends.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Ernie, son, Brian, Flagstaff, AZ, grandchildren: Jenny, Amanda, Cherish and Josh and great grandchildren: Tristen, Logan, Maddy and Dominik. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Fiala, brother, Cecil “Butch” Countryman and a sister, Shirley Fuller.
