Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church in Wilton for Mrs. Otillia Mary Buchmeier, 85, of Durant. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

Mrs. Buchmeier died at the Cedar Manor Nursing home, Tipton, Aug. 6.

A life resident of Durant, she was born July 24, 1886 in Scott county, the daughter of Joseph and Matilda Bujewski. A member of St. Mary's Catholic church in Wilton, she was a Durant seamstress and taught sewing.

Surviving are a son, Vincent, Sterling, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Waldo (Ethel) Schneckloth, Durant; a brother, Edwin, Fairport; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, 3 brothers and a great grandchild.
