Agnes M. Watson, 93, of Moline, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022 at New Perspective, Silvis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Noon Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Sacred Heart Church, Moline, with a visitation one hour prior at the church. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Sacred Heart Church.
Agnes was born January 13, 1929 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Robert and Adele (Green) Jorgensen. She married George A. Watson in 1949 in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death in December, 1995.
Agnes retired in 1996 from Rock Island Arsenal AMCOM. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Moline, where she volunteered for many years and belonged to Sacred Heart Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends.
Survivors include her children, Georgene (David) Rinden, East Moline, Gary (Jan) Watson, Naperville, IL, Teresa (John) Kruse, Rockford, IL, Paul (Pam) Watson, Conyers, GA, Cynthia (Lee) Clark, Clarksville, AR, and Carol Hayes (Bryan Newman), Goodyear, AZ; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother, Robert (Lucille) Jorgensen, Buffalo, NY.
